You know when you find something that you struggle to decide if its new or old, current or vintage, thats exactly the issue we had when we laid eyes on the Kojak Omega Time Computer 1. I mean look at it!! If this was still on sale in any department store you would never realise it was made in the mid 70′s.
The watch gets its name from the classic American television series starring Telly Savalas as the title character, in which New York City Police Department Detective Lieutenant Theo Kojak, sports the iconic gold digital watch.
Gold plated with ruby coloured mineral glass, the Omega Time Computer 1 is one of the first LED watches and now a collector’s classic. It boasted more transistors than the smallest television set at the time! You can still clearly see the likeness in todays Casio‘s, although they don’t fetch up to £1,900.00. Still such a good looking watch!!
